Vita-I really enjoyed work this last weekend, for the first time in a long time. I don't know why either, but I suspect I just needed to get away from it all for a while.
-We made it 800 feet in to the Devil's system, about to where the Mapleleaf is, in the Mudflats. That's pretty cool!
Some things have me down:
-Housing. No cancellations in a while, and I'm still #51. I don't know what to do....I don't know what God wants me to do, and I hate this. I want to get in on campus, and I feel a little deserted by my friends. No one networked with me to get into housing, even though I tried hard to network with them. I feel rejected by them a little, I suppose, and I feel vulnerable, not having a place to live yet. I hate this.
-Long weekend. Lots of little tiny mistakes were pointed out to me....people try to be funny and all but when you have lots of people joking around about how you suck at such and such, it wears at you.
-I think I have a cold. Suddenly yesterday my throat started hurting and all of my energy was sucked out of me...today I feel even worse. Hate this. Dove this morning and had fun but I feel like crap right now.
-Shannon is gone. I've known for a while now but haven't really been at liberty to say until the news was announced through other sources. I know some other inside info which I can't share but all together it's a mess for her family, and I'm truly and deeply sorry for their loss.
